Vant Trading is a family affair, started by Mike and his two sons, Tyler and Nick. During the pandemic, with most of the country shut down, Vant Capital had to adapt to having its office closed for an extended period of time. Like many companies, the only way Vant could operate was to have their employees work from home. This presented a unique challenge. Having employees work from home was one thing, but the infrastructure of the trading desk had to be replicated remotely. This would allow each trader to have access to the tools needed to trade while still being connected to the firm and the rest of the trading team. This required the creation of a virtual trading floor that could handle a large number of traders.

To further encourage communication, training, and collaboration we started the Vant Trading YouTube channel. As the pandemic persisted, the government provided fiscal stimulus on an unprecedented scale. This cash, plus the freedom of working from home spurred a large influx of new retail traders. Before long we were inundated with requests from friends and family asking for help navigating the markets and trading. Looking to help these new traders, we created a free course consisting of 25 lessons that spanned over 6 weeks. This course was based on the training program we successfully used for our new traders on our fund desk for more than a decade. It was an overwhelming success and led us to create a mentorship for those who had diligently followed the course. During this process we realized two things; virtual trading was not going to go away and our mission and our passion had evolved to encompass education and mentorship. Seeing firsthand the struggles new traders faced coupled with an inadequate education landscape led us to create Vant Trading with the goal of providing professional education and mentorship to these traders.

We envision s a world where all traders have the same access that professionals have to education, mentorship, and trading opportunities. In 2023, our goal is to create an international trading floor that will connect a community of like-minded traders who have the same passion and values for trading. By providing professional education and mentorship we will increase the odds of success for these traders. We are creating a new hedge fund to provide capital for traders who find success in the program. We at Vant Trading are excited and look forward to welcoming new members into our ever-expanding family as we work toward our mission of changing the world of trading.
